Based on our precision processing technology developed through manufacturing experience in sewing machine arm beds, we have broadened our reach into the automotive fields with a focus on engine parts and machine tools business. We have brought to market our original products including environmental equipment, wire saw, inspection and measuring devices. Yasunaga continues to make challenges toward new possibilities in order to create a new future.

History

■1923〜

June 1923	Yoshifusa Yasunaga founded YASUNAGA TEKKOSHO and started to manufacture and repair farming machines as its main business.

■1940〜

February 1947	Started production of sewing machine arm beds for household use.
September 1949	Established YASUNAGA TEKKOSHO CO., LTD.
March 1953	Started producing pig iron castings.
July 1953	Separated the foundry division and formed YASUNAGA CHUZOSHO CO., LTD.
August 1959	Started producing engine parts for farming machines.
November 1959	Constructed a sewing machine arm bed plant and began operations in Ueno City.

■1960〜

March 1960	Started producing machine tools for supply to domestic customers.
April 1963	Started producing auto engine parts.
November 1963	Removed the function of head office to Midorigaoka, Ueno City.
December 1964	Separated the transport division and formed MIDORI UNSO CO., LTD.
March 1967	Constructed Nabari Plant and began operations in Nabari City.
July 1970	Established YASUNAGA ENGINEERING CO., LTD., in Tokyo.
May 1972	Started producing air pumps.
June 1974	Discontinued production of sewing machine arm beds.
February 1975	Started producing wire saws.

■1980〜

November 1982	Completed construction of Saimyoji Plant in Ueno City and began operations as auto engine parts plant.
March 1986	Completed YASUNAGA ENGINEERING CO., LTD. Building in Sumida-ku of Tokyo, and opened Tokyo Office.
February 1987	Started producing inspection and measuring devices.
April 1988	Renamed YASUNAGA TEKKOSHO CO., LTD as YASUNAGA CORPORATION.
September 1988	Introduced a corporate identity (CI) program.
September 1988	Renamed YASUNAGA CHUZOSHO CO., LTD.as YASUNAGA CASTING CORPORATION and MIDORI UNSO CO., LTD. as YASUNAGA TRANSPORT CO., LTD.
November 1989	Established a joint venture GENERAL PRODUCTS DELAWARE CORPORATION in U.S.A.
August 1990	In Nabari Plant, established NC Center to enhance efficiency in production, distribution, technology and general management.
October 1993	Acquired YASUNAGA ENGINEERING CO., LTD.
April 1994	Acquired YASUNAGA CASTING CORPORATION.
May 1995	Established a joint venture YOUNG NAM YASUNAGA CO., LTD., in Korea.
February 1996	Established affiliate company P. T. YASUNAGA INDONESIA in Indonesia.
February 1996	Listed stocks on Osaka Securities Exchange 2nd Section.
October 1997	TPM Prize of Excellence awarded in the engine parts business.
December 1997	Obtained ISO-9001 certification for the air pump, inspection measuring devices and wire saw business.
April 1998	Established affiliates YASUNAGA GENERAL SERVICES CO., LTD.
October 1998	Established sales affiliates Yasunaga Corp. America in U. S. A.
March 1999	Opened new Tokyo Office in central Tokyo. Renamed former Tokyo Office as Tokyo Service Center.
April 1999	Started producing ozone generator.
July 1999	Started producing grease separator.
November 1999	Awarded for TPM Excellence and Continuation Prize (Div. 1) in the engine parts business.
December 1999	Obtained the certification of ISO9000 Series in the engine parts business.

■2000〜

March 2000	Divested from GENERAL PRODUCTS DELAWARE CORPORATION.
May 2000	Opened Tokai Sales Office in Toyota City of Aichi Prefecture.
June 2000	Obtained ISO9001 Certification in the machine tool business.
May 2001	Established Yasunaga Singapore Pte Ltd. as a subsidiary.
June 2001	Started business for "Garbage Disposer" & "Happy Healing" as amenity goods.
July 2001	Opened New Nagoya Office.
August 2001	Nominated as Tier-1 supplier by General Motors for Camshaft of GM .
December 2001	Obtained ISO14001 certification for HQ Plant.
February 2002	Obtained ISO9000 certification for whole Yasunaga Corporation.
July 2002	IC Lead Scanner "LI-2000" was awarded the prize of 32nd Machine Industry Design.
September 2002	Established Yasunaga Shanghai Corp in Shanghai, China as a subsidiary
December 2002	Obtained QS9000 Certificate of Registration which is the Quality Management System Requirements by US automobile makers (Big3 etc.) for an engine parts section
December 2002	Obtained ISO14001 Certificate for Casting Plant
January 2004	Obtained ISO14001 Certification for whole Yasunaga Corporation.
October 2004	The Wire Saw Division and the Inspection and Measuring Instruments Division were spun off as new companies named Yasunaga Wire Saw Systems Co., Ltd., and YASUNAGA S & I Co., Ltd., respectively.
April 2005	The Environmental Equipment Division was spun off as a new company named Yasunaga Air Pump Inc.
August 2005	Capital increase through a public offering was implemented as a result of the issuance of new 1650 thousand stocks.
September 2005	Construction of the Yumeporisu Plant was completed in Iga City, Mie Prefecture.
April 2007	Renamed former Tokyo Service Center as Yasunaga Tokyo Center.
April 2007	Closed Tokyo Office near Tokyo Station.
February 2008	Obtained ISO/TS16949 Certification for Engine parts.
April 2009	Consolidated Yasunaga Wire Saw Systems Co., Ltd., and YASUNAGA S & I Co., Ltd., as YASUNAGA CORPORATION.
May 2010	Established YASUNAGA Clean-tec Corp. as a subsidiary.
September 2010	YASUNAGA Clean-tec Corp. made business succession to disposer system business from Clean-tec Corp. by the absorption division.
October 2010	Established SHANDONG YASUNAGA PRECISION MACHINERY CO., LTD. in Shandong, China as a subsidiary.
March 2011	Established YASUNAGA KOREA CO., LTD. in Korea as a subsidiary.
March 2011	Selected the 2010 General Motors Supplier of the Year award.
March 2012	Selected the 2011 General Motors Supplier of the Year award.
March 2012	Construction of the YASUNAGA KOREA CO., LTD. Iksan Plant
December 2012	Established YASUNAGA (THAILAND) CO., LTD. in Thailand as a subsidiary.
March 2013	Selected the 2012 General Motors Supplier of the Year award.
July 2013	The market changes on the 2nd Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.(by market integration)
June 2014	Listed on the 1st Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
June 2014	Dissolved Yasunaga Singapore Pte Ltd.
July 2015	Established YASUNAGA MEXICO S.A. DE C.V. in Mexico as a subsidiary.
March 2017	Selected the 2016 General Motors Supplier of the Year award.

■2020〜

March 2021	Selected the 2020 TOYOTA Technology & Development Award.
April 2022	Transition to the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
December 2022	Divested a majority share of YASUNAGA KOREA CO., LTD., and changed as our unconsolidated subsidiary.
October 2023	Transition to the Standard Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
